WHY YOU SHOULD RESPECT SLEEP

Can we STOP bragging about how little sleep we get?

Here are some fun facts:

  • 42% of leaders don’t even get 6 hours of sleep.

  • Alcohol impairment and sleep deprivation have the same damaging effects.

In other words, 42% of leaders are functioning like they are intoxicated at work.

Leaders… Stop saying, “Yeah, I didn’t go to bed until 2am last night.” It’s not cool. It’s damaging. It negatively affects work performance. And if you’re not sleeping, more than likely your people won’t either.
